Senior Four-Ball Championship

Eligibility: Entries are open to two-person teams of amateur golfers who have an active Mass Golf/GHIN Handicap Index at any public, private, semi-private, municipal or non-real estate Mass Golf member course/club, who have reached their 55th birthday by May 26, 2020 and who have an combined Handicap Index not exceeding 12.0 (as determined by the April 30, 2020 Handicap Revision) or have completed their handicap certification.
Entry Procedures: Entries and fully paid entry fees must be received through the Mass Golf Online Entry process by 5:00pm EST on the published entry deadline.
Format: Competition will be 36 Holes at Four-Ball Stroke Play.
Field: The field is limited to 164 teams. Entries will be on a first come, first served basis. Alternate teams will be notified of their playing status by the Mass Golf office.

Any tie for first place will be decided immediately by a hole-by-hole playoff at Foxborough CC.

Automotive
Transportation: 
Cart fee is included in entry fee for both Championship rounds. Caddies and pull carts (at the host club(s) discretion) are permitted.
Food/Beverage: Mass Golf will be providing a complimentary luncheon on May 26 (at both Championship sites) for all competitors.
Starting Times: Starting Times & Player Information will be emailed to all competitors shortly after the close of entries.
Courtesy practice privileges are at the discretion of the host club(s).
Prizes: The James Shea Memorial Trophy will be presented to the Champions. Merchandise certificates will be awarded and are only redeemable at the host site(s).

Cancelled Round
Stipulation: 
Inclement Weather/Cancelled Round Stipulation; If 36-holes of competition cannot be completed as scheduled, the low 18-hole score from each site will be used to determine Co-Champions.

Withdrawal/Refund Policy
Competitors, who have submitted an entry for a Mass Golf event and wish to withdraw for any reason, MUST notify the Mass Golf office in writing (e-mail is acceptable and encouraged) or by phone. Entry fee will be refunded less a $20 administrative fee, regardless of reason, if Mass Golf is notified in writing or by phone seven days prior to each event (Championship, or Qualifier). Entry fee will be refunded less 50% for any withdrawals received less than seven days prior to each event. No refund will be processed for a withdrawal notification that is received on the scheduled date of an eventĀ (Championship or Qualifier).
