8/7 - Tuesday - Twin Hills Country Club   
8/13 - Monday - Bear Hill Golf Club   
8/14 - Tuesday - Sandy Burr Country Club   
8/15 - Wednesday - The Bay Pointe Club   

Eligibility: Entries are open to amateur golfers who have reached their 55th birthday by September 30, 2020 and who have an active Mass Golf/GHIN Handicap Index at any public, private, semi-private, municipal or non-real estate Mass Golf member course/club not exceeding 8.0 (as determined by the July 30, 2020 Handicap Revision) or have completed their handicap certification.
Entry Procedures: Entries and fully paid entry fees must be received through the Mass Golf Online Entry process by 5:00pm EST on the published entry deadline.
Format: Competition will be in two (2) stages at Stroke Play:
1. Sectional Qualifying (18 holes)
2. Championship Proper (36 holes)
Field: The Championship Proper field is limited to 120 players.

2020 Exemptions (Upon receipt of the online registration and fee, the players in the following categories are exempt from Sectional Qualifying);

1. Senior Amateur Champions of the last five (5) years
2. The top forty (40) scorers and ties in the 2017 Senior Amateur Championship
3. The top thirty (30) Mass Golf scorers and ties in the 2017 NEGA Senior Amateur Championship
4. The top thirty (30) finishers and ties in the 2017 George M. Cohen Senior Player of the Year standings
5. Any Senior Competitor (the year they turn 55, ONLY) who has won a Mass Golf Championship (Amateur, Open, Mid-Amateur or Amateur Public Links) during that year
6. Any Senior competitor (55+), who is exempt for the 2018 Amateur, Open, Mid-Amateur, or Amateur Public Links Championships.
7. Any Mass Golf golfer who qualified for the 2017 U.S. Senior Amateur Championship, if eligible
8. Any Mass Golf golfer (55+) who qualified for the 2017 U.S. Sr Open Championship, if eligible
9. The top ten (10) scorers and ties in the 2017 Super Senior Amateur Championship

Championship Proper:
Round 1 - September 25 (18 Holes)
***The low 70 scorers and ties after 18-holes will continue play on September 26
Round 2 - September 26 (18 Holes)
Any tie for first place will be decided immediately by a hole-by-hole play-off .
Caddies &
Automotive
Transportation: 
Cart fee is included in entry fee for Championship Proper. Players may use caddies, pull carts (at the host club(s) discretion) and/or automotive transportation during Sectional Qualifying or Championship Proper.
Food/Beverage: A complimentary luncheon will be provided for all competitors on September 25.
Starting Times: Qualifying Round Starting Times & Player Information will be emailed to all competitors shortly after the close of entries. Championship Starting Times & Player Information will be emailed to all competitors shortly after the last qualifying round.
Prizes: The Frederick J. Wright Memorial Trophy will be presented to the Champion. Merchandise certificates will be awarded and are only redeemable at the host site.
Trophy: The Frederick J. Wright Memorial Trophy will be presented to the Champion.
Addt'l Info: Courtesy practice privileges are at the discretion of the host club(s).

Withdrawal/Refund Policy
Competitors, who have submitted an entry for a Mass Golf event and wish to withdraw for any reason, MUST notify the Mass Golf office in writing (e-mail is acceptable and encouraged) or by phone. Entry fee will be refunded less a $20 administrative fee, regardless of reason, if Mass Golf is notified in writing or by phone seven days prior to each event (Championship, or Qualifier). Entry fee will be refunded less 50% for any withdrawals received less than seven days prior to each event. No refund will be processed for a withdrawal notification that is received on the scheduled date of an eventĀ (Championship or Qualifier).
