Eligibility: Entries are open to exempt players only.
Entry Procedures: Entries and fully paid entry fees must be received through the Mass Golf Online Entry process by 5:00pm EST on the published entry deadline. 
Format: Competition will be 54 Holes at Stroke Play.
Field: The Championship Proper field is limited to approximately 112 players.

4. 2018 Mass Golf Individual Champions, if eligible Open - Low (Mass Golf) Amateur and Amateur
5. 2017 Amateur Semi-Finalists
6. 2018 Amateur Semi-Finalists
7.  Top three (3) scorers and ties in the 2017 Mid-Amateur Championship
8.  Top three (3) scorers and ties in the 2017 Amateur Public Links Championship
9.  Top three (3) scorers and ties in the 2017 Junior Amateur Championship
10.  Top five (5) Mass Golf scorers and ties in the 2017 NEGA Amateur Championship
11. 2017 U.S. Open Local/Sectional, U.S. Amateur, Mid-Amateur and Junior Amateur qualifiers (Mass Golf competitors only)
12. The top ten (10) finishers and ties from the 2017 Richard D. Haskell Player of the Year standings, if eligible. Additional exemptions may be awarded under this category to fill the field, as needed.
13.  Top five (5) finishers and ties in the 2017 Christopher Cutler Rich Junior Player of the Year standings
14.  The individual champion from the 2017 MIAA Division 1, 2 & 3 State Championships, if eligible
15. The low Mass Golf competitor from the 2017 ElL Championship & 2018 ISL Kingman Bowl Tournament, if eligible.
16. 2018 Hornblower Memorial Champion, if eligible
17. Top four (4) Mass Golf affiliated finishers in the 2018 U.S. Challenge Cup – Francis Ouimet Junior Invitational
18. Host Club Exemption (4.4 H.I. or less) - 1 per host site (Championship Division)
19. Past Ouimet Memorial Tournament Lowery Division/Championship Division Champions, if eligible (regardless of state/club affiliation)
20.  Top five (5) scorers and ties in the 2017 Ouimet Memorial Tournament (Lowery Division)
21. 2017 Individual Champions, if eligible Senior Amateur and Super Senior Amateur
22.  Top five (5) scorers and ties in the 2017 Senior Amateur Championship
23.  Top three (3) scorers and ties in the 2017 Super Senior Amateur Championship
24.  Top five (5) Mass Golf scorers and ties in the 2017 NEGA Senior Amateur Championship

Round 3 - July 27 (18 Holes)

Any tie for first place (in any division) will be decided immediately by a hole-by-hole play-off.
Caddies &
Automotive
Transportation: 		Players may use caddies, pull carts (at the host clubs(s) discretion). Automotive transportation may only be used by competitors in the Lowery Division. 
Food/Beverage: Mass Golf will be providing a complimentary luncheon on July 25 for all competitors.
Starting Times: Championship Starting Times & Player Information will be emailed to all competitors in advance of the event.
Prizes: Merchandise certificates will be awarded and are only redeemable at the host site(s).
Trophy: Championship Division - Richard F. Connolly, Sr. Trophy

Lowery Division - Eddie Lowery Trophy

Women’s Division - Women’s Division Trophy

Withdrawal/Refund Policy
Competitors, who have submitted an entry for a Mass Golf event and wish to withdraw for any reason, MUST notify the Mass Golf office in writing (e-mail is acceptable and encouraged) or by phone. Entry fee will be refunded less a $20 administrative fee, regardless of reason, if Mass Golf is notified in writing or by phone seven days prior to each event (Championship, or Qualifier). Entry fee will be refunded less 50% for any withdrawals received less than seven days prior to each event. No refund will be processed for a withdrawal notification that is received on the scheduled date of an event (Championship or Qualifier).
